Defining Reference Design

It works just fine!.

Not enough faux pumpkins for me to use until the real ones are ready, not enough garlands, not enough spooky-but-not-tacky decor.Last year, I really cleaned out my bins and tried to leave mostly only things that I love.

This year, there wasn’t much left!Of course, when I’m in the stores, I’m finding myself drawn to only the most expensive Halloween decorations this year, and that’s just not happening with a new baby on the way and a nursery to work on!I decided to take it as a challenge and see what I could do with what I had on hand already, and some basic seasonal things, and then make a list and go back to the stores to catch the after Halloween clearance sales a little later on.

🙂 Next year will be great!.So let’s get to it!

Let me show you around!.

We’ll start in the mud room off of the kitchen.I keep forgetting it in storage and I haven’t had the chance to use it until now.

This emergency-perfect-Fall-day decorating situation was just the chance I needed!.Aren’t my new dollar store crows the prettiest?

Around here, we get a ton of crows in the Fall and Winter (real ones).People here hate them.
