The top is actually made from three barn wood siding pieces held together with wood glue and dowels.
What I love about this recipe is that other than the ground beef and the cabbage, it’s made with all basic pantry items. Now I can throw together the world’s best comfort food at the drop of a hat, in the middle of July if I want to!
No oven, no sweat..If you’re a busy cabbage roll lover with no time on your hands like me, give it a try!I really think I’m on a roll here in this room.Things are definitely brightening up and it’s happening quickly!
So far, fingers crossed.. Just in case you missed., here’s a little reminder of how this area used to look.. You can see the closet doors off to the right there.
Yesterday I showed you how I’d painted out all the trim and panelling on that wall with the dresser on it, and today I’ve gone and finished up the wall with the closet doors!.
The first thing I did was paint out all the trim and panelling again on this wall.I’ve been living in distress over the state of my house pretty much constantly for the last 2.5 years.
And before that, in the old house, I was like that for a long time too.I always find a lot to love about my home, but the bad kind of outweighs the good a lot of the time.
There’s just a whole lot of ugly going on in terms of old finishes, damaged walls and floors, half started projects and things that just need love. The fact is though, when you’re renovating, you’re going to have to live with all kinds of ugly when you run out of time to get something done right away.
